The new facility will provide housing, healing, and rehabilitation for youth in crisis. It's stable and secure home-like qualities promote a familial atmosphere, effectively avoiding the institutional feel of many similar shelters. The Harbor House features a cafe that offers stable work experience for the youth.

Design Concept:The design harnesses a strong commitment to sustainability, which allows the space to have a positive, inspiring atmosphere for the youth receiving rehabilitation there. The lunch shop, Souper Sammies For Success, features a home-like atmosphere that is revealed through the use of wood finishes, warm colors, and natural light.
